How big are my twins at 27 weeks?

Answered by Robert Youngblood

At 27 weeks, my twins are now the size of a bunch of bananas, measuring just over 2 pounds each. It's incredible to see how much they've grown since the early days of pregnancy. Their eyes are now opening and closing with ease, which is such a precious sight to behold.

One of the most exciting developments at this stage is that they can recognize sound. This means that I can finally start singing to and chatting with my babies throughout the day, knowing that they can hear me. It's such a wonderful bonding experience to share my voice with them and get them used to hearing it.

I've found that singing lullabies or even just talking to my babies while I go about my daily activities brings me so much joy. It's a way for me to connect with them and let them know that I'm here for them. Sometimes, I'll even play some soft for them to listen to, just to stimulate their sense of hearing.

As my twins continue to grow, I can't help but marvel at the miracle of life. It's incredible to think that these tiny beings inside of me are developing and becoming more and more like fully-formed babies with each passing day. I feel so grateful to be a part of this journey and to witness their growth firsthand.

Being at 27 weeks, I'm also becoming more aware of the weight and size of my growing belly. It's amazing to think that my body is providing everything my babies need to thrive and grow. I'm constantly amazed at the strength and resilience of the human body, especially during pregnancy.

Every day, I can feel my babies moving and kicking, reminding me of their presence and keeping me connected to them. It's such a special feeling to know that they are active and developing inside of me, getting ready for their entrance into the world.

Being 27 weeks pregnant with twins has been an incredible experience. I'm in awe of the progress my babies have made and the bond that is forming between us. I can't wait to continue this journey and see what the next few weeks have in store for us.
