Jabhat al-Nusra HQ in Maarat al-Numan burned by protesters

Tensions between Idlib civilians and Syrian al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra continue to rise since JAN cracked down on pro-FSA protests across Idlib governorate last week. In response to Jabhat al-Nusra's attacks on FSA Division 13 within Maarat al-Numan, pro-FSA took to the streets waving revolution flags, despite warnings not to from JAN and Jund al-Aqsa, eventually storming al-Nusra's local headquarters and starting a fire. The dispute between Jabhat al-Nusra and FSA Division 13 are to be settled in a neutral sharia court. In other related news, there is an unconfirmed report that Jabhat al-Nusra raided moderate Islamist group Faylaq al-Sham's Aleppo Headquarters, leading some analysts, such as Charles Lister, to question whether JAN is pushing its luck among the civilian population and other revolutionary militants.
